This year, we introduced a bit of friendly competition with our first-ever Holiday Tree Decorating Contest. Each unit went above and beyond to transform their spaces into winter wonderlands. After an exciting round of online community voting on our social media pages, we are thrilled to announce our winner:
- The Champions: Unit 3 took home the top prize!
- The Theme: Their stunning "Aqua-Themed" holiday tree perfectly captured the spirit of Seaside.
Because of the incredible participation and excitement this sparked, we are officially making the tree decorating contest a yearly tradition!
Sweet Treats and Festive Fun
The holiday cheer extended to our dining and activity rooms with several special events that brought residents and staff together:
- Cookie Decorating: Residents showed off their artistic (and delicious) skills, decorating dozens of festive holiday cookies.
- The Ice Cream Bar: A fan favorite! Residents and staff enjoyed a custom ice cream bar, building their own sundaes with all the holiday toppings imaginable.
- Ugly Sweater Contests: Our staff brought their best (and "worst") holiday fashion to the floor, resulting in plenty of smiles and friendly laughs throughout the day.
Lighting Up the Night
If you've driven past 850 Baxter Boulevard recently, you've likely seen our beautiful display of Christmas lights. These lights serve as a symbol of the bright community we have here at Seaside, welcoming families and visitors with a festive glow.
