Every fall, something special happens in our community. People from all walks of life come together, wearing purple, carrying flowers, and walking side by side with one shared goal: to end Alzheimer's.
This year, on Saturday, October 18, 2025, Seaside will once again join the Walk to End Alzheimer's, continuing a tradition that means so much to our staff, residents, and families.
For us, this isn't just another event. It's personal.
Every day, we care for individuals and families whose lives have been touched by Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. We see the courage it takes to face memory loss. We see the love, the patience, and the small moments that mean everything. And that's why we walk — for our residents, for their families, and for a future without Alzheimer's.
The Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world's largest event dedicated to Alzheimer's care, support, and research. Funds raised go toward advancing research, expanding resources for families, and spreading awareness about this disease that impacts millions of people across the country.
But beyond the fundraising, the event brings hope. When we gather together, it reminds us that no one is facing this alone. Every step taken and every dollar raised is a step toward a brighter future, one filled with more memories, more time, and more hope.
“To care for those who once cared for us is one of the highest honors.”
